DRUPA 2016

Once again DRUPA was a great show. We registered a lot of customers from all over the world who have visited our stand. It was also the chance to meet a lot of new people. Many interesting discussions took place and a lot of ideas have been exchanged.

Thanks to everybody who has visited our booth. We appreciated very much your interest in our technology for the label and card finishing process. We have been extremely busy throughout the entire exhibition, therefore in case you haven’t been able to talk to the Blumer person you looked for, please excuse us. Of course we are still available after the show and we guarantee you, in a much less hectic environment as during the show.

The highlights we had on display on our stand were certainly the new options available for the ATLAS-1110. This new patent pending cachets allows keeping the reference side of the printed sheet until the last label- stack has been processed. Reduced guillotine cuts, no more turning of the rims during the cutting process, reduced waste, higher accuracy and a solid basis for full automation are the main features of this new development.

The Labelbander 24 was the other new development which has generated a lot of interest too. Attachable to any guillotine, comfortably loadable by the guillotine operator, this machine bands any square cut labels in a very efficient manner.

The ATLAS-40 in its latest version has impressed many visitors. The audience realized immediately the potential of this machine for the cutting and banding process of square labels. The advantage of this system is the fact that even most difficult materials (paper as well as plastic) can be cut in a very precise and well controlled manner.

The entire production layout with Baumann / Wohlenberg peripheral equipment and with the integrated Blumer machines was convincing because of its simplicity and its user friendliness.

To have with Stamfag - the leading die-manufacturer - on our stand, was certainly beneficial for any discussions regarding the punching process of shaped labels.

In remembrance to a great exhibition, please enjoy a few pictures of our stand with displayed machines and Blumer crew. We are looking forward to the following-up process of your project.
